I fished Cady Lake today and caught two nice rainbows. One at 22" and the other 18" both good color and fat. I saw a 28" steelhead landed. The fishing is still slow because of the cold water temp. and some otters. Later in the summer fish get leader shy with all the pressure from guys like me, but it's still great fishing. I wish we had more lakes like Cady.
I've fished Cady for over fifteen years, before and since Cady Lake Manor came to Cady Lake. I remember before what a garbage pit it used to be. It really burns me to read the comments from a contributor about donations. I know that Larry has spent thousands of his own money each year on fish, the toilet, and our garbage. This last year was the first time he asked for donations. I've seen all the improvements he has made at Cady these past years. Here is a guy that gets little thanks, and asks for none. I asked Larry how much I should donate. He said, it was up to me. After I pressed him, he said a couple of dollars would be great. I give $5.00 each time I fish and it is well worth it.
I hope that your readers realize how truly uninformed comments can ruin what someone else has spent years to build. I really appreciate all the things Larry has done at Cady. Thanks T. Hunter Tacoma
