Kraig is right about the action at the boat launch on the 20th. The
spinning action was good, and some of the larger browns and cuts were obviously fishing as well. The kids and I were bobbing worms, but the young man nearest us brought two browns 14"-16" in on a #1 Mepps, and scored a cutthroat nearly that size on a small roostertail. As long as the plants hang around the launch beach, the crankbaits, spoons and spinners ought to fool some of the lake's hold over predators.
