Three of us put in around 7AM Sat. the 27th. We trolled worms with nothing else, no weight, no nothing and caught 3 cutthroats and 5 rainbows by around 1030. We were fishing between the bridge and the public fishing area. We found it effective to go as slow as my kicker would allow, and wait for a nibble. Once we had a bite, we gave them a little slack (enough to stop the worm's forward movement) and set the hook on the next bite. After 1030 a boat planted right where we had been trolling, so we anchored and still-fished worms under bobbers. Got two more that way and a third casting a Mepps spinner from the boat. By 1100-1130 things got slow. Two of us got our limits and the other caught one (10 year old). Another guy coming in at the ramp had his limit, too. Good day at St. Clair
