Got to the lake at 6 am. Started out with a perch colored rapala.Very little hits, but got a 1lb large mouth. Continued to fish the fingers of this great lake. There were strikes in the shallows, but not to much around deeper parts. Tried spinners, poppers, 2in black grubs with no luck. Put the Rapala back on and hit another pounder.Looking forward to this weeks fishing.Should pick up with the warm weather.Can't give up seeing that Summer is over. (Tight lines.)
