It was late lazy afternoon so we loaded up and set out to find one lake but ended up in another. Arrived late (4pm) saw several good size trout coming in - 14" or better. I put on my homemade colorado spinner (special color blades) my husband started out with a spinner also, got a couple of bites but couldn't get them in so we changed to other lures. My hubby got one about 12" then he put on the vibrex minnow (yellow) within minutes he had a bite that took about 20 feet of line before he could do anything. Never did see it - got off before he could land it. The rest of the time was not productive. Left about 830pm.
