Arrived and began bank fishing about 1100. Had two 14 inchers and one 12 incher on the stringer when the jet skiers and water skiers arrived enforce. Still catching trout while the boaters stayed well out and away from the bank (200 foot limit is the regulation in Thurston County). As the lake became more crowded with boaters, I noticed several dangerous incidents occurring. Several small kids being pulled on float tubes with no life vests, water skiers and jet skiers traveling within 30-50 feet of those that were slowly trolling, and float tubes being pulled about 70 feet from me (in between the bank where I was and a bass fisherman casting toward the shore with spinners! Just before leaving in disgust I saw two young fellows (army from Ft Lewis) begin to throw rocks at two boats that were pulling skiers about 50 feet from the shore. I told them that someone could be killed if they did that. They agreed and left also. All of my future fishing trips to this productive
lake will be very early in the morning even though the bit remains strong throughout the day. I foresee serious incidents/accidents occurring on this lake if these serious breeches of safety are not corrected soon. Tight lines...
