I've been fishing this lake for years using 3 bladed pop gear and a fresh worm and a slow troll and have limit almost every time out. I've fished it in the morning and have seen monster fish jumping around. I have caught 25in rainbows, and smaller of course. I know a guy that caught a 6 and half lb. trout from this lake. I've caught bass, perch, catfish or brown bulls, and even a couple of black mouth salmon near the mouth of the Black river, I caught that 25in rainbow about 3 in the afternoon, with boaters all over. Bait your hook right and they swallow every time. Some will let go, but you should limit. before 10:00am is probably the best. I'll be the guy in the 10ft livingston.
