3 to 5 ft waves didn't keep us from catching some monster trout ! Frenchy's (Frenchmans wasteway) is jumping with large trout. 23 Feet of water seemed to be the hot spot... within 5 minutes we had 2 very nice trout on the line... both were over 20 inches. Things got kind of slow after that. We caught our limit in 2 hours. There were 3 of us in the boat. YES, WE WERE TROLLING RUBBER LEOPARD FROGS WITH 1/2 ounce "banana" sinker 3 feet up from the frog...SECRET: (soak your rubber frogs overnight in oil and vinegar mixed with peanuts and chocolate sprinkles.) No kidding it works like you wouldn't believe...! P.S. wanna buy some ocean front property in Arizona?
