Fished two days with my son-in-law. We caught fish on a variety of
flies: wooly buggers, small green nymphs, dark brown caddis, but the
most successful was a damsel fly or close imitation fished dry right
along the reeds on the north shore. Best time was late morning to
early afternoon. By mid-afternoon the heat was intense. There was the
usual late evening rise in the slot. We have yet to discover how to
fish this with any success. Any suggestions? Write me:
