Fished Banks as we always do in Mid-May and had better luck than ever. Five of us, fishing catch and release, caught about 25-30 bass on Friday and Saturday. The majority were over a pound, and 6 were over 2 lbs. By the scale, the larger bass weighed 2..1 lbs, 2.2 lbs, 2.4 lbs, 2.7 lbs, 3.0 lbs and 3.1 lbs. The prize fish wasn't even a bass. We caught one Walleye while fishing for bass that weighed in at 6.4 lbs and was 28" long. This was our best effort at Banks in 4 years of regular fishing.
