I fished Yarrow point with my friend Sam this morning. Sam overslept so we didn't start fishing until 7:45. I had hate to say it but it appears that the Lake WA Coho fishery burned like a flame for a few days but has now all but burned out. Coincidentally, the fishery started to fizzle the moment Muckelshoot netting operation hit the water. I'll let the readers draw their own conclusions though...
There are still some fish rolling and jumping, but those fish on the surface don't bite so don't waste your time. The fish finder was showing empty most of the day for anything in the 20-60ft range. A couple marks now and again, but nothing substantial. A week ago they were thick.
I'll probably try a couple more times to see if they haven't moved up to Champagne Point or St. Edwards.
