Headed out to Sawyer about 10:00 in the morning. My friend and I were
trolling with some rapalas. No luck until about 11:00 when the strikes
began. We landed a few rainbows around 11 inches. At about a quarter past
noon I hooked a fat 4lb rainbow. Wow! What a fight! The best part of the
day was when my clumsy friend fell off the bow of the boat reeling in a big
one, or so he thought. You should have seen the expression on his face!
Luckily he recovered his pole and the fish. I'm sad to say that that rainbow
was the smallest of the day. We decided to head home after that event. All
in all it was a great day! I'll have to head out there next week after work.
Good luck to you all!
