Arrived at about 11:00 a.m. and found a dozen or so fly flingers already at work. Started with a bugger troll, but no interest. Saw one nice brown landed by a shore angler using a damsel nymph. Headed into the South end of the lake near the reeds and ran into a storm of damsel nymphs, both light and dark olive. After trimming an olive buger to look like a damsel nymph I hooked up immediately, followed immediately by a snap. Tied another and on the next cast, snap again. These fish are huge but scarce.. I recommend leaving your 4x tippet at home and switching to 3x or even 2x. The water was 67 degrees and I spotted one floater, so if you do land one, spend some time and make sure it revives.....
