Went out to Green Lake on a rainy morning at 7:30am. The water was calm and there were a lot of fish activity. I saw a bunch of triploids jumping around. I dropped my line in the water around 7:40 and was using pink and chartreuse power bait. After 10 mins later, my friend Tim came to the dock and we fished together. As we were chatting, I saw my rod tip jerking back and forth so I picked up my rod and waited for a good take. After couple of seconds, my line went slack and I set the hook hard enough to break the fish's jaw. I fought that sucker for about 2 mins and landed it. It turned out to be a nice fat triploid of about 1 lb. Left the lake around 10:30 without another fish :(
