Mild afternoon. Fish dimpling for midges around stump patch. 16 midge emergers worked well. One 14 inch Cutt. was hog of the day. Still not the number of fish as past years. Hey Ken, thanks for your info about the Cutts. However, native or planted, until the "locals" stop fishing with "campfire candy" and start barbing their hooks, all your clubs hard and appreciated work ends up in the dumpster. The only way for Kellogg to stay a class westside cutthroat lake, is to practice Catch and Release. Fish with spoons, I don't care, but treble hooks and powerbait spell doom for our westside lakes.
P.S. Ken, how do you explain the 10 inch Brookie I caught. Native or planted? And yes Ken I do know the difference between a Cutthroat and a Brookie.
