Just got back from a three day weekend at Jacks Resort at the south end of the lake. Fishing is easy for fat 10-12" prestolog shaped trout (from the May/June fingerling plants) and an occasional 17-18" trout. The resort was bought this spring by two gals who have steak night on Fri/Sat/Sun nights and make some of the best homemade pies too. They have full RV hookups (power/water/sewer) for only $19/night. They're now open from April THROUGH October and the lake is open for the month of October in the fall.. It was mostly sunny and clear this past weekend there and very nice! IT WAS SO NICE THAT WE'RE TAKING SOME FRIENDS BACK FOR ANOTHER THREE DAY WEEKEND ON 10/26-10/28/01!
