Skunked again! My buddy Tyler and I hit the lake early and hard leaving
those fish helpless; or so we thought. This was our fourth trip out to
Fontal since early December. On our first trip, Tyler scored a beautiful
12" Brook (caught and released to be caught another day). This was the only
luck we have had on this lake. We have tried all the tricks including: Spin
casting and fly-fishing. It seems the fish have wised up and hit the road!

This daunting lake has not lost our attention though. We are planning on
wasting our time as long as it takes to break this unfortunate streak. Let
me tell you, we'll be half way back to the car and out of there as soon as
the next fish hops out of the water and into one of our float tubes.

There has to be a good low-land lake around here to fish in but this is not
it! Good luck with this one fellow anglers.
