I arrived at the lake today at the very reasonable hour of 11am, and saw no one. Perfect! But at 11:05 and 11:10 that was shattered. When I got out on the lake, I could hear the splashing sounds of rising trout. They were hitting some little midge or mayfly, about a #18 or 20, I heard some other guys say that they were PMDs. The fish were small, 8-10 inch rainbows, but entertaining. I had no matching dry fly but was able to snag 3 with a #12 Atherton dark nymph, and a #14 coachman wet fly. I also tried deep trolling some streamers and leach patterns to no avail. Oh, yeah, an osprey had good luck feeding on the rising trout.
