I am from San Diego and use to fishing in the ocean for fish like yellowtail and albacore. I am the worse fisherperson up here imaginable. But I have to say; I did catch a largemouth bass. Guess I used something that would nomally be good for catching trout, which is what I trying to catch. I ended up with an over 21"+ long beauty around 4lbs. She is on my wall now and is gorgeous. (I wondered why all the guys at the dock wanted to pour their beer over my head)! Specially when I told them I wanted to go back out right away and get another for my friends dinner... (yeah right)! LOL
