Weather was great, pretty average to poor fishing. We stayed three days and had absolutely no wind. It was in the 60's during the day and 20's at night. By Western Washington Standards, fishing was good, but not what I have been used to in coming over to Jameson. Most of the fish were in the 8-9 inch range. Our biggest catch was 18 inches. We also caught a 13 and 14 inch trout. Other than that they were pretty small. We were trolling pop gear and wedding rings, and there seemed to be a lot of fish on the fish finder, but not biting much until Sunday. The best fishing seemed to be in the big lake by the waterfalls, and across the lake by the cliffs.
PS. We usually always leave Sunday morning to beat traffic, but the fishing was the best it had been all weekend. So, we paid the price and it took 5 1/2 hours to get home over Stevens Pass when it usually takes 3. My advice is either leave early Sunday or late to beat the traffic.
