Well, my wife and I packed up the three kids for a late season camping/fishing trip and couldn't have gotten better weather. The fishing was extremely slow however. We were targeting the bass and had very little success. We only caught two bass on the main lake, one smallie (1.25 lbs) on the dam face and one largemouth (1.5 lbs) in the Lind Coulee area. My wife found success at the Mardon dock though, she caught her three biggest of the year. They were largemouths going 4 lbs, 3.5 lbs, and 3 lbs. Needless to say I was a bit jealous! I definitely want to come back when the fishing picks up!
