Last Friday I trolled Clear Lake with my fly rod using a #2 weight sinking
line, with a California Leech. I wasn't even in the boat for 5 minutes, and
I already caught and released 2 rainbows a little over 16". The next 3 hours
I would catch and release 7 more, within in the last 15-20 minutes I caught
another 4 within the 16-18" range. Out of all the fish I caught on Friday 2
were below 16". I have never fished this well using anything else.
