Fished several hours yesterday morning and also morning one week prior, from a nice dock on the north end. Mixed baits-- medium crawlers, several Power Baits, Power Eggs. Caught zilch, nada, none. Water and weather seemed prime. Mid-may I fished from the 2nd resort dock near the south end, same result.
Late morning yesterday 2 thirtyish guys showed up to take their nearby boat out.
One, a former longtime resident of the lake, told me that he'd been out in the boat a few evenings before and spotted a pair of Otters, one very fat.
I'm wondering if there's any connection between them critters and the Awful fishing?!
