Fished this lake for the first time today. Kind of hard to find. The entrance is not marked at all. It was only by going back and forth a few times I finally found it. It is about a minute north of SE 400th St and just south of SE 383rd St. It is the only right turn coming from the north between those two roads. Very easy to miss, so you might have to circle around a bit.
Very primitive boat launch. Small boats or handcarried devices seem to be the rule. There's a 100ft or so canyon like passage between the reeds before you hit the main lake. Launch is gravel and mud.
Right now, it is very very weedy. Pretty thick milfoil extends about 20 feet from the shoreline along most of the shore. Thick lilypads as well to about 10 feet. However, this lake seems to have a lot of potential. Definitely worth checking out early season when the weeds have subsided. Caught a few foot long largemouth bass, 1 tiny (6 inch maybe) LM bass, 1 small (7 inch) perch, and one slab (10-11 inch) crappie. All were on 3 inch oil slick curly tail with 1/8oz black jig with yellow eye. Crappie went to the other boat on the lake, all else were released.
