Made my annual trip to Jameson, fished the small part of the lake near Jack's Resort and caught fish nearly constantly both days. Best fly was a black wolley bugger pattern but we had to change flies and or tactics to adjust to the fish. Mid day we were deep using a t-200 fast sink but in morning and evening we could get by with either a sinking tip or a Stillwater line. These fish are the best fighters I have ever caught giving even a six weight rod a tussle. The weather is cool, water only 55 degrees so this lake will be on for some time, a least until the July 4, closing.
