Spent the weekend at Mardon Resort to avoid the cold nights. Fished the dock at night with marginal success. Three Rainbows in 4 hours of cold temps with one 4lb using a slip bobber with a crawler/powerbait combo.
Went trolling crankbaits along the State Park, Medicare Beach, and the dam without much luck. Headed across the road to Corral with the same Baby Hot Lips. We limited out on Saturday in 4 hours and Sunday in 3 hours. The fish weren't the same quality size as the Reservoir but the action was non stop.
Use the Bluegill, Perch, and Trout colored Baby Hot Lips and troll at about 3-4 mph. Try it out and watch a 2-3 lb trout slam your pole like a salmon strike.
