We have had a good past few days with a 11 fish day today wrapping up the week. We released a handful of females ranging 5 to 9lbs and kept many great eater males that were 16 to 23 inches. My best technique was a downhill troll with Mack's smile blades in black, purple or chartreuse with black beads tipped with worms. We bottom bounced in 25 to 35ft of water and was trolling at 1.4 to 1.8 mph. Soaking our rigs in some good scent seem to really help. We were using the nwbait graybills craw/anise and also the graybills garlic scents.
