After a nice day on the water Saturday and looking at the extended forecast for the next two weeks, I pushed off chores to fish after church.

Didn't expect much better than Saturday which I was 2/3 for 4 hours.

Started south of the weather body working north, since I saw a ton of boats there. Took an hour for the first fish: dodger and God's tooth hammered Nickel. Not much action for the next hour. After a bit, started to switch though things. Dodger and spoons, spinners...hoochie! Two quick bite. 3/3 was feeling really good at this point. Birds started to attack the water and the next 4 hits resulted with two in the boat.
Got my first limit on Sammamish! (Started fishing Sammamish in Sept/Oct). Was super fun! Family has been eating fish tacos the last few nights on the 7 fish over two days. Good stuff!
Only didn't give it a 5 because it seems that others weren't having too much success.

I was out there at the same time on Sunday, fishing SE of the buoy in a white 18' Weldcraft Angler open tiller. I went 4/4 on the God's Tooth in blue/chrome and perch. Your day sounds a lot like mine. Action was kind of spotty.

I think I may have come by and said "Hi"; not sure if it was Saturday or Sunday. I was in the white AlumaCraft 14' side console. Hope to be back out either Saturday Morning or Sunday Afternoon. Not sure quite yet.

Thanks for giving the God's Tooth some work! You can run them without a dodger too if the fish seem skiddish. Appreciate your support!

@ElginFishing I think my setup with the God's Tooth isn't quite right. Sometimes it has the perfect wobble but other times, it's just kinda like gliding along. Played with the speed and length from my dodger. Just not quite right. When the action is right though, I did have more action. Many drive-bys.

I need to know how you are rigging, are you using a double hook setup (kokanee rig) or are you using the spoon out of the package with a dodger? If you like, you can email me a description or photo of how you are rigging and should be able to get it resolved (russ@elginfishing.com) or you can text me a photo and description of your rigging. 425-346-8683.
Some observations, leader length should be 12-14" for the cutts and 12lb max for leader.
