This is a combine report for Rattlesnake Lake for Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

My first time on the lake since it was stocked was Thursday after work. A fair amount of wind made for tough going speed wise. Found the fish down the right side/middle to where the lake shallows out. Stockers were two different sizes. Quite small and normal. Daredevil Spoons Trout Weight with a medium split shot was the best lure. 14 total in 3 hours.

Saturday I was at the lake at 7:15 am and it was dead clam lake. Fish surfacing everywhere. With low wind, fishing was much more productive as I caught and released 70 fish, which 3 were hold overs. Almost everything I tried worked but again the Daredevil spoons were by far the best producers. Another angler was using a Tasmanian Devil (which I have used mainly at Lake Sammamish) for the first time and was doing well. I put one on and it work for me as well but not as well as the Daredevil’s. It did catch me my largest fish of the day out in front of the Eagles tree which has produced all of my larger fish. See pic. Left at 2:30. Awesome day 6 doubles!

Sunday I was there again early and in fact the first one at 7 am. I only had 3 1/2 hours to fish and I started off with a Yellow with Black stripped Tasmanian Devil and my hot Lady Bug Daredevle. Lots of early action as I head toward the right shore line towards the middle of the lake from the launch. Lost the Tazzi to a snag while playing fish. 28 for the day with a half dozen coming from a Bobber Jig set up casting to risers. Found that the front part of the lake held the smaller sized fish from the two plants, while some of the nicer stockers were more mid lake.

Fun 3 days with plenty of fish and good weather. The pic of the Daredevil is from a fish sh that I caught in a different lake. The other pic is the nice double holdover from Rattlesnake. Love fishing there.
