After having a slow couple days Walleye fishing the bite picked back up. Me and a customer Launched out of Gifford in the am and started jigging with slow results. We then decided to motor down to Hunters to see if the wind calmed down and with luck it did. We started catching fish around 11:00 am until about 5:00 pm. But by the end of the day bill ended up with a nice mess of Walleye to take home to his wife for a fresh Walleye fish fry. Fish were caught today from 120'-145' of depth. Compared to the last 2 days of catching nothing but Burbot it was nice to put a few Walleye back in the boat. Walleye fishing is going to pick up much more in the next two weeks on the main part of Lake Roosevelt . Give us a call to learn how to jig Walleye and Burbot deep. Good Luck Everyone and Good Fishing!!!!
