Hit the water real early to beat the derby traffic. Got 4 lings in the first hour or two all safely released. Decided to move to a different spot around 830 or 9 away from the crowd of boats at possesion. Dropped to the bottom and bam first minute down landed a nice 25.5in 7.5lb hatch. Fished till around 12:30 with one more to the boat but it was native so off it went. Beautiful day on the water. White spoon for the win again. Fished 85ft to 130ft. Tight lines!

4 ling's trolling? Any size to them?
Curious on how fast you were trolling? I've caught my fair share of ling's trolling but normally just random ones here and there.

It was random never happened before. 3 were around a lb or 2. One was probably around 5 lbs. Trolling varied 1.8 - 2.8mph roughly.

Very cool. I have never caught a ling on Possession.

The 1st spot I hit was outside of possesion by a few miles or so closer to a bank. Then I motored to possesion in a mostly Beatles area.
