Trolled around Beaver Lake all morning on Sunday... lots of folks out, I think a dozen vehicles parked at the boat launch. I didn't get any action at all, regardless of what I threw at the fish. It seemed to be slow for most folks. I watched one guy bring 1 fish in and after chatting with a different boat, I learned they had also brought 1 in.

The weather was fantastic, overcast most of the morning and the lake was smooth as glass for the most part. Great morning of fishing, but not catching!

Glad to see that you got out Dan...Beaver is very tough this long after a plant. I look forward to the next plant and I hope that your next trip is well timed! What I always use there has not failed me. It’s the keeping 5 instead of 2 change and anglers camped out right in the spot were I normally go that has made for some tough days. A

My last couple trips to Beaver since the stockings began in the Fall have been similar to yours. No luck trolling spoons, wedding rings, crankbaits. My guess is that most of the fish are taken within 1-2 weeks of a stocking. Seen some with stringers of 5 broodstock which is legal this year with the elimination of the special rule limit of 2 over 15".
