This not a report from the logbook of the Tin Guppy. Yesterday we were out in my buddies 22 Ft hardtop SeaRunner. Don't get me wrong I really appreciate the Guppy but a 22ft hardtop can really spoil you. Pretty darn deluxe says I. We launched out of Ft. Spokane around 9 and headed up river. Knew it was likely to be a bit slow when we managed to get all 3 lines out before we got one on. After that it was pretty steady but not really hot. Never actually go a true 100% double. By the time we finished with the RB it was too late to head further upstream looking for Walleye and Burbot, maybe next time. We had a really good time out there and I doubt it matters much where you go for Rainbow, we caught most of ours in 50 to 100 FT down around 20, some probably as high as 5 ft. Seemed like a simple reddish/orangish spinner was the hot lure for the day. My purple Kekeda fly saw more use than my Orange K fly and produced a couple of nice fish. Sure seems like they get a little bit bigger each week. We only had one wild fish.
Stay after them, it's the right thing to do.

Wow Mark sounds like you got spoiled! Sure is fun in those cool cabin boats. Tight lines friend - Alan
