Once again launched out of Ft. Spokane and headed up the Arm to the same areas as last weekend; not the same result. Jay and I did manage to catch 20 eyes but we definitely had to work for them. Jay had the hot hand and accounted for 75% of our catch although I did catch the only real keeper at 17 inches, everything else was too small and was released. We started off jigging near Blue creek and Lapham's in 40-60 FOW and picked up a few fish but we ended up trolling smile blades. A blue smile blade was definitely the best color and most of the fish we found were in 46-48 FOW. Unlike last weekend we never had a bite from a burbot which was very surprising considering our success catching them last weekend. Hopefully the rain lets up and we can get out this upcoming weekend.
