Caught several smallies using ned rigs between my dad and I. Fished all day, launched around 8 off the water just after 3:30 pm. Most fish we caught were in 30-40ft of water, although we did catch a lot of perch out deeper in 50-50 ft.

Best fish of the day was just a shade under 3lbs, most fish around 1lb.

Beautiful late fall day!

Thanks for the report. I don't fish Tapps, but I would assume where I fish would be similar. I am seeing fish in that depth also, but haven't been able to get them to bite at all. They don't seem to be relating to any particular structure, just cruising around. I can see them on my underwater camera, so I know what they are on the sonar. How are you working the ned rigs and what colors? I've tried drop shot and even a nightcrawler near the bottom. No interest so far. But I know where they are.

Thanks for the update on Tapps. How's the water level? Is North Tapps park still open to launch?
