Fished for chum this morning. I usually chase chum for the tug and to replenish eggs that I used up during coho season. This morning I decided to just do exactly that. I was accompanied by a friend who has never been chum fishing.Since whatcom is closed we made the long drive to minter creek from south everett. Hooked at least 20 fish in about 2 hours. Most were foul hooked so back in they went and the ones I did hook in the mouth were too dark for me so back those went back also. My buddy kept 2 hens and me one. The fish are in. No need to tell anyone this as it is no secret. It was crazy packed but ppl were friendly and mindful of others.
