We went out for the last time this year to my favorite lake. I’m going elk hunting on Friday, and since I’m prone to get cabin fever, and when I get back my favorite local lakes will be closed, I had to hit it one last time.
Fishing was a little slow to be honest but we did manage to catch a few including a pretty nice rainbow on a wacky rig Senko, a first for me. The fish are certainly getting lethargic, caught everything on a drop shot or wacky rig, they weren’t interested in chasing crankbaits at all.
It was a great year of fishing, I feel blessed to live in a place with this beauty and these resources, and I appreciate everyone who helps keep it that way.
