Met up with fellow NWFR member JoshH to target this year's kokanee. God blessed with 6 kokes between the two of us and they were next year's fish. With the number of kokes caught and their smaller size, I gave a rating of 3. For the total day of fishing, I would rate a 5 as we caught a healthy number of cutthroat as well. We used the Elgin Fishing God's Tooth spoon kokanee trolling rigs as well as a few traditional setups once I decided to target the cutts near the end of our outing. As far as depth goes, we found the kokes and cutts between 20'-45'.
Wanted to say congratulations to JoshH for catching his 100th kokanee this year on our outing!
The video below shows some of the action for the day. Wishing all tight lines!
