Down to Long with Ron, got there about 11:00 am and it was really foggy. "Topwater" right. Well not for me. Ron did pretty good with a little topwater Chuggar he had numerous hits mostly from small fish. His two biggest were 1.5 lbs each. I was throwing a 3.5" Whopper Plopper and never had a hit. Caught all mine on 4" and 5" senko's or a spinnerbait. Caught one that was the same size as the 5" senko. My two biggest were also 1.5 lbs. Fog finally lifted about 2:00 but it really didn't change the fishing. We probably caught 16-20 so at least we stayed busy. It sure got nice out at about 4:00 and thought they would turn on but didn't happen. Wa. Temp 53-57. Clarity about 4'-6'. Hardly any pad fields but plenty of weeds on the bottom. Not a single other fisherman on the water.
