Fished off the shore at hunters. 4 rods for 3 1/2 hours. Only one bite. I have never had such poor luck here as I have in my last few trips there. I’m wondering if the popularity of this fishery is starting to affect the population. I’ve only landed one fish in my last 2 trips and I have limited out in this spot before. Talked to some boaters and they didn’t seem to have any trouble catching fish. Jealous!

Wait for the surface temps to drop, they were 63° a week ago. Once they get below 60° I think bank fishing will improve. ;-)

I sure hope you’re right. Although I’m still skeptical considering that I saw a pretty good drop off in production going back to last fall and through the winter compared to previous years. I’ll keep trying. Appreciate the comment.

Next week the fish will arrive at the hunters boat launch. That is November 1. or not I am optimistic because I fished there early and caught a hatchery fish so they are in the area and cooler water will bring them close to shore.
