Hit the river up for a few hours in the morning. Saw a handful of jumpers at the most, luckily the sealions and seals weren't around. Started out slow, hooked a few small jacks early in the morning. I kept 1 that was I hooked in the gills. Once it got lighter outside the fishing picked up. I went 3/5 on some larger fish. Seen a few guys twitching jigs and casting spinners but they didn't seem to be having any luck. The hens all had small immature skeins, usually by now they come in with large mature eggs. It's been a phenomenal Chinook and Coho season so far this year on the the river in both size and numbers, I hope the immature skeins mean that it'll last a little while longer.

No, I haven't fished Dicknites in a while. More of a bait fisherman these days.

question for green river. Can you use treble hook lures there and if not does the single hooks have to be barbless?

You can use treble hooks on lures that float. Those that sink are limited to one single point hook but if you are fishing from a boat you can use two hooks. Barbed hooks are allowed on the Green.
