I went to Clear Lake again was calm when I arrived at 10:45am and more boats on lake. Hit channel to right and was slower only got two fish on top water minnow and that was at end of channel. Had a couple spooked by minnow but not much action...wind picked up so threw the buzzbait to calm areas behind pads and landed #3 a 12". Had couple more hits on buzzbait but nothing landed...worked down shoreline by pilings and tried around those and had a couple bumps but no fish...my battery is dead so rowed to far end of lake past public park...and started top water again. No bites close to shore and in front of Lily pads...I have caught fish before out away from pads towards middle of lake on minnow...sure enough if not catching them in cast out...landed nice 13" swimming the top water minnow back...back towards pads about third cast big explosion on the minnow and bigger fish. Good fight and 14.5" in the boat...wind picked up again and went down to far south end of the lake with no bites...had couple top water minnow bites between docks at far end ...got one more on buzzbait..but not a lot of action today...tried spinner bait, frog in pads, buzzbait, rat l trap and top water minnow in perch....got 9. Got more last time in 2 1/2 hours. Tougher day today...glad it was calm on long row home.
