Another weekend of King fishing the Reach in the books for Munden's Rising Son Adventures. Fishing was great this weekend! I say that as some of you may be reading this and saying...."Man the bite is tougher this year" Well guys, lets face it..>we got spoiled over the last few years! I remember growing up fishing the reach and a 2-4 fish day in the late 90's and early 2000's was a stellar day! We are back to what I would call "normal" salmon fishing! I see it in my clients all the time! We need to remember that when we hit the river, it has to be about more than just catching a quick limit! It needs to be about time on the water, rest, relaxation, knowledge, story telling, and just a break from everyday life! The tug is a bonus! Its not a bad day this year if you only get 2-4 fish! That's an awesome day, because......you got fish! Also, don't get too upset or hung up on the fact that maybe some other guys are doing better. Everyone has there day and just because your program isn't working at that instant, doesn't mean its a bad program. I didn't get a bite until 11 am Saturday, but I have confidence in my program! From 11-12:!5 we had 7 fish and limits the boat with 5 nice kings! That was a crazy hour of fishing!

Sunday was a bit tougher fishing. We didn't see as many fish caught, but still had our chances! We hooked 6 and got 3 adults and a little jack to the boat. Again, a great day in my book! There is still plenty of good fishing to be had, so get out there and enjoy the river, your time, and maybe a bonus fish!
