Wow, last week we caught all silvers, this time it was all chinook. Early morning, my buddy kept his (as shown) I put mine back. Little on the dark side for me. But man, good fights on 8 lb test mono. Once again we were pitching eggs. It was a blessing to see my buddy catch fish on a cheap pole and no waders. We fished for 2 1/2 hours caught 4 chinook released 2. Going back Friday. Time to rip some lips.
Tight lines everyone!

When pitching eggs, does that mean that you are using eggs instead of yarn in a drift setup?

My gear consist of a big corky a little bit of yarn and eggs tied with an egg loop knot. I like to keep my gear tight as possible (compact). I have just pitched corky and yarn, but have had better success with eggs piggybacked. The coho last week and chinook yesterday gobbled our bait, there wasn't one fish that was flossed. But for me I don't use long leader. I hope this helps.
Tight lines buddy.
