Had a difficult time getting any bites yesterday. Granted, I was fishing from the shore which doesn't make things any easier, and my access to a large portion of the pond was restricted. I like how close this spot is to me, and how tucked away it is. I would not have known it was there had I not stumbled on it when looking for a closer spot to go fishing. I think in part the weather has to do with the bite being off. With the weather not getting much colder, its hard to say whether the fish have started to migrate towards the shallows yet or not. I think I will try this spot again at some point, and ideally with a little raft or float of some sort.

It’s a fun little lake. I’ve fished and reported on it quite a few times. You definitely need to just get a float tube, and get off the shore.

Quadfather,
I actually read your reports on the lake. It is definitely a cool spot, and I like that it is relatively quiet and close to home. I figured that getting a float tube might be the best option. Do you fish the spot year round? What have you found that does/does not work so well when throwing for bass? Maybe I'll see you out there some time!

Wa/Or. guy....
I don’t fish it year round, just because I hate bass fishing in the winter, Bass too slow, etc. for me.
I am mostly successful with whacky rigged Senkos, and spinner baits.
There is an outflo and inflo Creek that is in/out of the lake. I was pretty successful when tossing up into those areas.
