Was fishing the Puyallup last Friday where it meets the White. Saw two solo guys fishing the White a hundred yards or so up from the confluence. My buddies and I let them know they were fishing closed waters and they left. Then we were driving out we saw a group of 5 or so fishing the White right under the 410 bridge (right before the 410-167 interchange) I told them they were fishing the White and they had no idea what river they were on. For the new folks the Puyallup and White converge about 200 yards west of the 410 bridge. The White river is closed.
Also, I drove over the 128th St E yesterday evening and looked into the river bed and saw two people fishing the Puyallup. The Puyallup is currently closed Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
Fishing wise the river has been full of coho since the rains started last week. Get out and get some.
