Got to boatramp about 6am. We were the first ones on the lake. Quite cool, but dry. Water @ 62 dergrees and dead calm. Only had a small number of other boaters on the water. Water very clean/clear. Be careful of submerged deadhead logs, most are marked with floats. Started getting fish within minutes of launching our small boat. We caught and released trout all day long. Great rainbow fishing, although not too large. Very scrappy fighters on light gear. We took only one 12-13 incher home that was badly hooked and did not survive. Wonderful lake, please consider catch/release; these little fighters deserve it. Take a kid fishin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
