Finally got out to target some Kokanee. As always Mica Bay produces. Started fishing around 5:30pm headed south across the mouth of Mica Bay. I had 3 fish in the boat before I even got my second rod set up (I was stressed for time so I figured I’d set up on the water). I had 8 fish in the boat my first run across the bay. Picked up 4 more on my way back across the bay. In all I took home 12 nice fish and lost 3. Using down riggers at 50 feet. Gear was Mack’s sling blades (UV clear harring bone and Silver with green harring bone), with pink hoochie and silver smile blade on one and a Brads Kokanee Cut plug (Hollywood) on the other. Used corn and various Pro-Cure sents. Good luck everyone.
