Launched out of Everett with hopes of getting into some Coho salmon. Two of us headed out to Mukilteo with lines in the water at 7:00 am. We marked tons of fish but couldn't escape the eel grass and seaweed. Saw lots of other boats pulling grass off their lines and downriggers as well. Called it a day at 9:00 as we grew tired of removing salad from our lines. Got back to the launch and the fish checker had only seen four fish come in. We did call it a day a bit earlier than we would have liked but the writing was on the wall for the type of day it was going to be. Fish should be pushing into the Snohomish in droves soon.
