We headed over to the Snake River and Clearwater confluence by Lewiston and Clarkston. There were well over 30+ boats on confluence and they were for the most part all huddled in about 500 yeards of watter. We on the other hand, had the great priveledge of bank fishing ;)

We fished from 7 to 7 and didn't catch a thing. 3 different boats trolling right in front of us caught fish, but we just couldn't hit them. The fish seemed to be plentyful and they were jumping all day long. We used regular and purple died shrimp on our jigs. From what I hear, that's pretty much the setup for bank fishing for Steelhead. We will definately go back but this time we will bring the boat!
